Brazilian Intellectual Outlines the Triumph of Cultural Marxism

Leftists: Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff and Cuban dictator Rail Castro

Cliff Kincaid, the Director of the Accuracy in Media’s Center for Investigative Journalism, recently interviewed anti-communist Brazilian writer and philosopher Olavo de Carvalho. It is a great history lesson on cultural Marxism and how it has infected the Western Hemisphere and beyond.

Yleem and I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. de Carvalho a few times in Washington, DC and always enjoy talking to him about world events. Olavo is a truth-teller and staunch defender of freedom, rule of law, and Christian values.

Detractors used to call him a conspiracy theorist; however, they’ve long been silenced because just about everything that he warned about has happened in some form or another. You can learn more about his work by visiting his website for the Inter-American Institute for Philosophy, Government, and Social Thought.

During Kincaid’s interview Olavo touches on a variety of topics including:  (1) the Anti-American left, the Sao Paulo Forum, and the “collapse” of communism (2), cultural Marxism, (3) Can Israel and Colombia be saved? (4) Pope Francis and world revolution (5) Russia’s role in the New World Order, and (6) the role of Christianity in saving the West.

If you think Marxism is dead, think again. It should be on life support and someday it will be. In the meantime, there are staunch adherents of Marxism and Communism that continue to pester, and more, throughout the Americas and well beyond.

  • Thanks to a group of his students, you can know watch (with english subtitles) an important lecture Olavo gave in 2004 about the Islamic Totalitaniamism.

    • Gilberto, we will circulate the post to our networks. Thank you
